DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
The custom cross as shown on the website is around 3.5cm long and 2.5cm wide. This does not include the 1cm bale on top of the pendant, this is the loop for the chain. If you would like to wear the cross pendant with a chain that you already have, let us know the width of the chain and we will ensure that the loop can accommodate that width. The dimensions of the cross pendant can be customized to suit your preference.
- To ensure that the cross is durable and sturdy, we have assigned a metal weight of around 8 to 10 grams for the piece. A change in cross dimensions could require a change in weight, you will be informed about this before the order confirmation phase.
- This is a gemstone cross pendant and you get to choose the gems of your choice. While the gem shape and sizes can be customized, here are the gem details as shown in the PG1015 pendant design. The center gem is an oval 7x5mm citrine (November birthstone), the 4 smaller gemstones are rounds 2.5mm - 3mm rubies (July birthstone). It is not necessary to wear your birthstone on a cross pendant but doing so, would add meaning to the jewel.
- Just a note to say that the 4 ruby gems in the custom cross could be replaced with diamonds (natural or lab created), it is also possible to have different gems - not necessary that all the 4 gems are of the same time. Specific price quotes will be worked out according to your requirements.
- Besides accommodating all design modification requests, we can also handcraft a unique cross or any other jewel - based on your design specifications.
- We did mention that gold and silver crosses are crafted to the same high standard. If you happen to be interested in a gold cross pendant - specify 10k, 14k or 18k gold and also mention your choice for white, yellow or pink gold. We recommend 14k crosses as the metal combines the right degree of hardness and gold content. We leave that decision to you, request for a price quote if you wish to have a 10k gold cross pendant.
